Book love: an invite

One of my very good friends of many, many years is getting married and she asked me to help with the invitations. They both love books and so I thought this was a fitting little illustration.

Just a few new and old doodles that I decided I liked when I looked back through my current sketchbook the other day. I am determined to be better about posting images. I have a few projects for friends that I have recently completed or are in the works. Need to try and get images of them before they are out in the world.

found octopus

These are images from my found object creation I made a while back at one of our workshops. I just realized that I never posted images of it, so here are a few. It was fun to have a lot of random materials to play with and think three dimensionally, which I admit I don't really do that often. Of course I saw the octopus and had to use it.
